What we missed in the world:
How to avoid tons of paper towels and energy for electric hand-dryers when out-and-about.
There was simply no alternative (other than quickly wiping hand on your clothes - yes, we all have done this a thousand times. But usually hands are still wet - and this can spread germs).
What was missing in our (hand)bag was a compact, cool looking small reusable towel in a pouch. To live more sustainably with ease and do our bit to help saving the planet.
We found that common travel towels or whatever we used - at sports, beach, sleepovers, camping or outdoor adventures - were too bulky, didn't feel good, weren't nice looking, didn't fit in our (hand)bag or didn't come with a handy pouch. They simply didn't step up to the occasion!
What did we do about it?
All these thoughts didn't leave our minds for months. When being 'out-and-about', meeting people or in daily life, we couldn't stop realising that a beautiful small towel with a pouch that's flat, compact, easy to take with us, highly absorbent, quick-drying and has kind of a 'WOUW'-factor, would be so much better for the planet and practical for us.
We did our research and found that in Japan are no towels or dryers supplied in public restrooms. Everyone brings their own. It's deeply embedded in the culture. So if they can do it, why can't the rest of the world?
We would have loved to be quicker in market as we believe in particular in Covid times our Tiny Towels do more than supporting a more sustainable lifestyle - they can help people to feel safer and more confident with their hygiene when 'out and about'. But, hey, we're here now and hope you like what we created!
We thought of many possibilities!

Tuvigo has been created by a Sydney based, passionate woman, loyal and fun friend to many, mum, full-time working manager and now also small business owner. She's full of ideas and imagination, with a reputation to 'making things happen'. She teamed up with a fun and cool best friend who happens to be an amazing online game designer to invent Tuvigo Tiny Towels in a Pouch.
